The performance took place in the courtyard of the house I lived in at the time. Many pigeons had taken up residence there. The artist, who had immigrated to Germany by plane from Japan, and the pigeons, from where they had flown, were not known. This is an attempt to connect the instability of the artist's own life, the uncertainty of his future, his position as a foreigner, and the relationship between the pigeons and the pigeons, which are regarded as vermin.
